"The State YMCA of Georgia provides programs and opportunities for our youth which promote self esteem, leadership skills and moral and civic responsibilities."
Who We Are
The State YMCA of Georgia is part of a nationwide YMCA teen leadership initiative, active in nearly 40 states. Since 1929, our organization has provided teens with the opportunity to develop leadership skills and experience democracy. State YMCA of Georgia programs consist of our Youth and Government model legislature, "Y" Clubs, as well as our many teen leadership initiatives. Most of our participants come from public and private schools from across the state that have a participating "Y" Club.
There are several components that make up our teen programs, including:
Students can participate in one or all of our teen programs and register through their local school "Y" Clubs.
